Dali Mpofu Still Willing To Represent Mkhwebane Under One Condition

Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane revealed that Dali Mpofu’s advocate was still willing to represent him at the examination of article 194, but on one condition.

Public defender Busisiwe Mkhwebane says he is still without a legal team. This comes after the investigation resumed today.

It is this funding problem that has prompted advocates who represent community advocates, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, to declare that their mandate has ended. The public protection office has complained that there is no longer any budget for the investigation.

Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane said it was unfair that he was without his lawyers who should have been provided, as he was not the one to initiate the investigation himself.

Recently, the public protection office said it had managed to secure some funds so that Busisiwe Mkhwebane advocates could continue to receive legal assistance. It seemed that even though the money was secured, he had yet to get hold of it.

Mkhwebane said Lawyer Seanego had stopped being his teaching lawyer, but advocate Dali Mpofu was still willing to represent him if he was briefed by a new lawyer.

The suspended Public Protector sympathizer said the humiliation he was subjected to was unthinkable. They accuse the chief investigator of wanting to end this process abruptly without proper procedures.

“This woman’s disdain for just wanting to do her job is incredible! If you are a feminist and this doesn’t bother you, don’t bother taking yourself seriously,” said one social critic.

In response to these concerns, ANC veteran Tony Yengeni described the section 194 investigation as a kangaroo trial. He said it should be rejected by all South Africans.

“This kangaroo trial by parliament must be completely rejected by the people of South Africa,” said Tony Yengeni.

The trial was again adjourned so that Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s advocate would get a new advocate. It is unclear whether advocate Dali Mpofu will return to the case, but Mkhwebane said he expressed interest.
