Zandi Khumalo has officially taken a stand as a witness in the path of Senzo Meyiwa’s murder.
SABC senior journalist Chriselda Zozi Lewis took to her Twitter account to update South Africa on what Zandie had said on the stand. He tweeted, “New witness in Senzo Meyiwa murder trial is Zandi Khumalo (Kelly Khumalo’s sister). He has now taken a stand. The sound will be LIVE, but the face cannot be shown.”
Zandi had this to say as she stood up, “I thought about pulling, but I chose not to either. I want the trial to continue because I want justice to continue. I know Senzo Meyiwa through my sister Kelly. He has a relationship with her. Senzo Meyiwa and Kelly Khumalo have dated several times. They love each other. They have a beautiful relationship. They will follow each other everywhere.”
He further stated, “When I heard the guns go off I ran to the bathroom while Tumelo Madlala ran into the bedroom.”
